The Givinga Foundation Nonprofit Portal makes it easy to monitor and analyze your nonprofit’s donation activity through detailed reports and customizable views. These reporting tools help you understand donor behavior, track funds, and measure your organization’s fundraising success.
How to Access Your Reports
- Click "Reports" in the left navigation panel.
Understanding the Donations Tab
The Donations tab provides a detailed view of each donation received. Available customizable columns include:
- Donation Date: When the donation was made.
- Amount & Fees: Total contribution and processing fees.
- Company & Donor Name: The donor’s name and associated company (if applicable).
- Donation ID: A unique identifier for each donation.
- Notes from Donor: Any comments or messages provided by the donor.
- Campaign Details: The associated campaign or initiative for the donation.
- Donor Contact Details: Optionally display donor email and mailing address fields.
Note: Donor contact details (email and mailing address) are visible based on the donor’s requested transparency at the time of donation.
Customize your view:
- Click "Manage Columns" to select up to 8 columns at a time for display.
Understanding the Disbursements Tab
The Disbursements tab provides details on payments sent to your nonprofit. Available data fields include:
- Disbursement Date: Date when funds were sent.
- Disbursement ID: Unique reference number for each payment.
- Amount: Total amount disbursed.
- Payment Type: Payment via ACH (e-payment) or check.
- Payment Details: Breakdown of donations included in the disbursement.
- Disbursement Status: The current stage of the payment process:
- Pending - Processing: Funds in the holding period.
- In Progress - Scheduled: Funds scheduled for release.
- In Progress - Paid: Funds have been sent to the nonprofit, but are still in payment delivery processing.
- Completed - Cleared: Funds successfully received by the nonprofit.
- Failed - Void: Payment was voided and not delivered.
- Failed - Redirected: Payment was sent to a different nonprofit.
Note: Redirects are completed at the discretion of the Givinga team and will be completed due to deliverability or compliance issues. All redirect decisions are based on the Givinga Foundation Policies and Procedures.
How to Filter Your Reports by Date & Keywords
- Click "Date Range" to filter reports within a specific time period.
- Select your start and end dates, then click "Apply Date Range".
- Use the Search bar to filter results by keywords, donor names, or transaction details.
Exporting Your Data
- Click the "Export" button in the top right of the Reports table.
- Select "All Data" to download your complete data set as a CSV file.
- The exported file includes all columns, even those not currently displayed in your view.
Additional Notes:
- Reports are updated every 4 hours to reflect the latest donation and disbursement activity.
- Pending donations appear before disbursement processing begins.
