When you contribute to your Charitable Savings Account, funds are initially placed in the American Cancer Society Support Shares of Government Money Market Fund (ACDXX), which focuses on capital preservation and low-risk diversification of government instruments. Janus Henderson will donate an amount equal to half of its management fees for all assets under management from the Fund.*
You can then choose to invest these funds in one of three investment strategies designed to align with your charitable giving goals and risk tolerance.
-
Sign in to your account and navigate to the Invest page.
- Review the available investment account options:
- Conservative Fund: Emphasizes income with a secondary focus on growth of capital.
- Moderate Fund: Seeks a total return through growth of capital and income.
- Growth Fund: Seeks a total return through a primary emphasis on growth of capital and secondary emphasis on income.
- Make sure you've funded your account.
- Once you've selected the account type that aligns with your investment goals, click the Invest button for that fund.
- On the investment page, enter the amount you'd like to invest.
- Review and accept the terms and conditions.
- Click Continue to confirm the details of your investment.
- On the final review page, click Submit Transfer to complete the setup of your new investment account.
Tip: If you want to rebalance your portfolio among these options, first sell the investment(s) you'd like to reduce; then, once the funds are added to your available balance, buy the investment(s) you'd like to increase.
