Your nonprofit’s profile is visible to donors across various platforms powered by Givinga’s Philantech® technology, including workplace giving programs, corporate donation portals, and other philanthropic solutions. Keeping your profile updated ensures that potential supporters see the most accurate and compelling information about your mission, increasing engagement and donation opportunities.
How to Update Your Nonprofit’s Profile
Step 1: Edit Your Nonprofit’s Information
- In the left navigation panel, click "Organization Profile".
- Click the "Edit" button (right card) next to your nonprofit’s name and EIN to update address, website, email, and phone number.
- Make the necessary changes and click “Update”.
Step 2: Update Your Mission & Branding
- Simply type in the text box, and then click “Save” in the top right.
- Mission Statement: Ensure your mission is clear and within the 400-character limit.
- Tagline: Add a short tagline (50 characters or less) that summarizes your organization’s impact.
- Upload a Banner Image: Click "Upload Image" (recommended size: 1200 x 300px PNG or JPEG, under 150MB).
- Upload a Logo: Click "Add" and upload a PNG or JPEG file (under 15MB).
Step 3: Select Nonprofit Category & Cause
- In the bottom right card, choose the most relevant Nonprofit Category from the dropdown menu.
- Select the specific Cause your nonprofit supports.
Save and Review
Once all updates are made, click "Save" to apply changes. Your profile will now reflect the latest information for donors and partners.
